Handbrake is absolutely OK if you only want to rip the odd DVD - especially to H-265 but if you want to archive several hundred - I think that's a candidate for a Y3K (Year 3000 !!) project before completion. I looked at Makemkv (seems it's forever in beta) - it can rip fast but I get "Orphaned chapters / episodes" especially on those DVD's of TV series that have several episodes on 1 Disc - and it gives odd errors.
